starry, starry night…
E: Hey, tonight is the first time I am seriously having a Starbucks withdrawal symptom…
CS: Really? Why didn’t you tell me earlier? We could have gone to Gloria Jean’s.
Tsk, tsk, tsk…Gloria Jeans is no Starbucks, dear. That is why I am never tempted to satisfy my cravings there, yet. Somehow, the decor and the music they play seemed ‘wrong’. Somehow, there is no mutual attraction, yet. Somehow, I am able to pull myself away every time I passed by a Gloria Jeans outlet (which is often, mind you).
But I am about to cave in. Man, I sure can do with a Christmas drink. Heck, it might even be the beginning of a ‘short fling’ until Starbucks is here in Perth, eventually. I await with hope.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us, regarding the possibility of a location opening in Perth .We were pleased to read that you have been a Starbucks customer in Singapore for a long time and enjoy our Frappuccinos and Lattes. We are currently focusing our interests in supporting our current stores in New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania .
We understand that many of our customers would delight in having a Starbucks location in Perth , and hopefully soon we will be able to join you there. It is certainly our intention to move into other areas within Australia in the short to medium term, although exact timing has yet to be determined.
I would suggest that you keep your eye on local media sources for any information on our arrival and check out our website regularly for details of new store openings.
If you have any further comments or questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Subject: starbucks in Perth
With my impending move from Starbucks-is-everywhere Singapore to Starbucks-nowhere-to-be-found Perth, you can understand it is with a heavy heart that I am emailing you.
For many years, you have been a constant feature in my life. There is no simpler pleasure to me than in enjoying a frappucino in-house or grabbing a latte to go. Yours have been a comforting presence all these years.
When, o when, can I have any hope of your arrival in Perth , Australia ? I really hope we will meet there again soon…
