This is what I had for lunch yesterday – asparagus risotto and apple pie. All homemade by a dear friend, Karine. On Monday, she popped into my office and I wasn’t in, so she left me a note in her beautiful handwriting (all French children are supposedly taught the art of manuscript writing as part of their school curriculum since young). Merci beaucoup, mes amie. To pay it forward, I offered Cate, a colleague, my homemade lunch – spinach fettuccine with sundried tomatoes, fetta cheese and hot salami. Think she enjoyed it?
