into the woods…

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” Henry David Thoreau

A Day in the Mundaring Hills: a detour led us to discover this huge dam…

Mundaring Community Sculpture Park: where we found quirky art installations. One poignant sculpture title: Goodbye cruel world. I’m off to join the circus, but I missed the last train…(see top left pic)

Our rewards: pizza dinner at the famous Little Caesar’s. CS’s favourite: oyster kilpatrick (bacon, smoked oysters, parsley, mozzarella cheese)

P/S: A special shout-out to Ivan & Annabel: Welcome to our blog! We hope you enjoying reading it as much as we do writing it!
