till we meet again

This is the young adult connect group we are leading in church now except for two who couldn’t make it last night when we met for a farewell meal because one couple is leaving to return home to Adelaide for work reasons. The thing about living in a big country, in fact, a continent, is that people are more transient. They come and go for various reasons and seasons in their lives. One other couple in our group hopes to eventually return to Tasmania so that their future kids could grow up in a farm with lots of wide spaces. As a parting gift, we gave the couple a book each from our own library that we felt was appropriate for where they are in their faith journey now. And we console ourselves by telling each other at least we will have a good reason to go Adelaide some day…
